March Meet The Maker - Favourite Collection?

Today’s March Meet The Maker Prompt is “Favourite Collection”. Throughly is, I don’t think I really have one…I love all my children, sorry pieces of jewellery equally!

Since attending a short engraving course back in 2023 though, I am loving adding what I’ve developed into my own kind of “hybrid” technique. Using traditional hand gravers alongside powered burrs to create shapes and textures inspired by rivers, streams, paths and of course the forest.

I’ve been doing this job for over 20 years, but I never stop learning, and with each piece I make, I refine and improve my existing skills as well as develop new ones, which I guess usually makes the last piece I’ve made my “favourite”!

I know officially this should be about a collection, but here’s a few recent commissioned, website ordered and sample pieces all featuring what I think is currently my favourite technique.
