T’s & C’s

I know this all sounds a bit official, and I’m sure you’ll have a fantastic time at your workshop, but we do still have to include this to make sure all the t’s are crossed and the i’s dotted.

Workshop Bookings and cancellations

All workshop bookings with The Studio or Anna Fine Jewellery require the attendee to pay a deposit, followed by the workshop balance prior to starting the workshop of block of classes. This will be requested by the class tutor before the workshop to be paid either by cash, debit/credit card or online invoice. Deposits are alway non-refundable unless there are exceptional circumstances, in which case an admin fee of £20 will be charged.

If you are unable to attend a workshop due to illness, please inform us at the earliest opportunity, and no later than 24 hours before the beginning of your workshop. If possible, your deposit will then be transferred to a future workshop or class. Deposits will be transferred a maximum of two times.

If a workshop is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full value of the session (in the case of a block of classes, for example an 8 week course, the term “session” and “full value” refer to the total cost of all classes in the course, unless we are able to fill your space part way through)

We understand that sometimes unexpected things happen, like illness or accidents, while truly sympathetic, we cannot absorb the financial responsibility of last-minute cancellations.

Attending a workshop

Making jewellery involves the use of various tools and equipment. Some of these are sharp and require care and attention to use, and sometimes small accidents can happen. Your tutor will fully explain how to use any tools and equipment safely and you will be expected to follow their instructions. Appropriate PPE and safety equipment will be offered where required. The studio therefore accepts no responsibility for any accidents or injuries that may occur while you are on our premises. All attendees at workshops and/or classes will be expected to wear suitable clothing without long flowing scarves or ties and closed toe footwear. Long hair should be tied back and rings, bangles and large dangly earrings should be removed.

Equipment

Jewellery making equipment can be expensive and a jewellers tools are very precious to them. It’s important that every one of them is respected and shown the love that they deserve! All tools and equipment remain the property of The Studio or of the visiting tutor and we reserve the right to charge for breakages that fall beyond reasonable wear and tear.
