How it’s Made - Twist Rings…
The traditional twist design is one that’s really popular as an engagement ring shape, and one that many (including me) jewellers/goldsmiths/silversmiths/metal bashers have put their own stamp on and made part of their collections.
Make Your OWn Wedding Ring Workshops are back!
Last Saturday, I welcomed the first couple into my studio to make their own wedding rings since the start of lockdown, and I won’t pretend that I wasn’t feeling just a bit nervous about it all.
All Change (well kind of)
This week has been the first in my new studio. I haven’t moved far, just about 10 meters away, but I now have a bigger and more “Covid-safe” space, and also a door onto the main public area at Taurus Crafts, so hopefully it’ll make it a bit easier for you all to find me!

** UPDATE - I’ve had a lot of people asking how to measure their ring size, and obviously the best way is to go to a jeweller’s, but we all know that’s not possible at the moment. So, an alternative way is to use a printable ring sizer, of which there’s a couple in this guide to choosing a wedding ring:
